We do so by offering a wide variety of quality plants, garden accessories, and services, set in beautiful surroundings, at competitive prices that are backed by our knowledgeable and friendly associates.

Meet our owners...

John Rakouskas, (above right), Co-Owner and President, is a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College and has over 30 years of experience in the field of horticulture. He is a member of the Massachusetts Certified Horticulturists, and is on the Product and Advertising Committee for the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association.

John has been married since 1981 and has three daughters. He enjoys hiking in the winter, and camping and gardening in the summer.

Lenny Peltier, (above left), Co-Owner and Vice President, is a graduate of the University of Stockbridge, and has over 30 years of experience in the field of horticulture. He is a member of the Massachusetts Certified Horticulturists, a board member of the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association, an advisory board member to Springfield Technical Community College, and an advisory board member to the Lower Pioneer Valley Collaborative.

Lenny has been married since 1987 and has two sons.  He enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and cross-country skiing.
